The freelance Senior Content Strategy position is perfect for a creative Information Architect or Business Analyst whose favorite part is making the content work or for a Content Strategist who loves diving into technical details.

HUGE is looking for freelance Senior Content Strategists for short and long-term contract opportunities, potential to full-time.

Typical deliverables include:

*Research: Publishing workflows, stakeholder interviews
*Solutions: sitemaps, information architecture, taxonomies, metadata schema, content models
*Implementation: CMS workflows, admin interfaces, content migrations, governance planning, training

The Senior Content Strategists role sits within our content strategy group as a sort of scientist of content. A growing part of our UX department, content strategy is a linchpin to the large-scale experiences we typically design. Although wireframes are not a core deliverable for this role, appreciation for design and an aptitude for visual solutions is valued.

Our ideal Senior Content Strategists pushes beyond cookie cutter solutions to create innovative content experiences for users while factoring in clients’ internal capabilities. Implementation experts with the ability to translate the weeds into a thousand-foot view for clients are greatly appreciated.

Senior Content Strategists are self-starters comfortable with a lot of independence. They are strong collaborators who work closely with interaction design, visual design and technology to bring our visions to life.

Requirements / Qualifications:

-3+ years working experience solving large-site content challenges
-Degree in library science or related field is a plus
-Successful track record of creating and documenting taxonomy and CMS solutions
-Uses existing editorial workflow to inform CMS implementation and workflow strategies
-Weighs in on design decisions in light of strategic goals, fighting for great content relationships and realistic technical solutions to co-exist
-Excellent problem solving skills and a love for content challenges
-Loves to create powerful spreadsheets that boggle the mind
-Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple simultaneous projects
-Passionate about making the best content experiences in the world
-Local candidates available to work on-site highly preferred, remote a possibility for the right candidate.
