17FEET, a San Francisco based interactive design studio, is seeking a User Interaction Designer. Opportunities for UI innovation abound at our small shop. We design consumer-facing web sites, mobile interfaces and software applications for top-tier clients. We're looking for contractors and full-time employees to join our dynamic, growing company.

What we're looking for a UI Designer to:

* Concept ways to make technology and people connect in meaningful ways
* Participate in primary consumer research

* Generate wireframes, user flows, process flows and site maps

* Work closely with visual designers and developers 

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Define & document requirements

* Enjoy playing Wii

We're looking for UI Designers who bring:

-
* A solid background of designing user experiences for consumer web & or software applications -- Mobile experience is a big plus
* Hands-on skill in developing wireframes, site maps, user flows, experience maps, personas, etc.
* Solid knowledge of Visio (or comparable) & Adobe CS
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Organization and detail-orientation
* Demonstrated knowledge of a variety web and software development technologies
* 3 + years of UI
