Taleo User Experience (UXP) professionals are key participants in the product management, design and development phases of the software lifecycle at Taleo. The User Experience Team, part of the product management team within the global Research & Development organization at Taleo, is responsible for user research, user interface design, application usability and the evaluation of technologies that enable customers and end-users to personalize, configure and maintain their Taleo OnDemand enterprise applications. As a member of this team, the User Interaction Designer drives the information architecture and design of user interfaces of the Rich Internet Applications (RIA) of the Taleo Enterprise Edition Suite. Responsibilities include the following: * Create and design innovative RIA/Web 2.0 user interactions and interfaces * Participate with product managers and functional architects to translate product requirements into compelling user experiences by producing flows and wireframes * Transform flows and wireframes into innovative UI mock-ups of existing and/or new product features * Work with content writers in including labels and guidance into UI that takes into account localization and internationalization * Collaborate in transforming UI designs into prototypes and validate their usability and accessibility * Use and augment the Taleo UI pattern and look & feel libraries and documentation * Help implement a user-centered design process by collaborating with team and external help in doing user research and usability validation activities Qualifications: * 5+ years experience in software application design or complex Web interaction design (or equivalent experience) * BS or BA degree, or higher, in Interaction Design, HCI, or similar * Experience working directly with Web developers during product implementation * Knowledge and experience of user-centered design methods and best practices * Excellent communication and project management skills * Passion, leadership and imagination Come join our team and experience the Taleo difference!
