Interaction Design The Interaction Design team is committed to human-centered design principles. We are evangelists for supporting human needs and behaviors. The Interaction Designer designs the core functionality and behavior of the digital applications we create. IxDs collaborate closely with strategists, visual designers and writers, content strategists, and technical specialists, while working within a client team. What Our Teams Need From You · Thrive in a collaborative environment. · Be present, engaged and communicating both formally and informally with your team. · Present work internally and to clients · Articulate the practice of IxD within your team and outward to clients · Be passionate about brands, marketing, and how they are expressed through digital projects What We Expect IxDs to Do · Be the person who brings IxD thinking to the overall process · Create all IxD artifacts, such as interaction models, task flows, personas, wireframes, site maps, and user/functional requirements, that are relevant to the project · Use Visio, Omnigraffle, Illustrator, InDesign, to build documents (we are flexible based on your personal needs). · Have understanding of Web 2.0/Ajax/CSS/HTML/Flash development as they apply to designing digital applications · Plan, implement, and analyze research · Speak for the human being—her needs, goals, activities, experiences, and mindset—throughout the project What We’d Like to Know About You · Your educational background with specialty in HCI, design, psychology, anthropology, psychology, sociology or other related field; graduate degrees are welcome. · Your work – a portfolio of examples of your work · Your experience: we’d like you to come to us with about 3 years experience, and up.
