Inflexxion http://www.inflexxion.com The Information Architect works closely with the Senior IA and the UExD team to perform tasks in line with UCD principles and practice. Tasks include investigating the information seeking behaviors of users; gathering and refining design requirements; conceptualizing user interactions through wireframes, task-flow diagrams, and prototypes, and documenting processes throughout the project life cycle. The role requires a strong ability to communicate design concepts and solutions to non-designers, to work collaboratively, to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and to meet deadlines. Usability testing experience and an interest in health behavior technology is a plus. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: •Gather, organize and structure complex information for diverse user types •Generate clear task-flow, and information architecture diagrams •Conceptualize user interactions for varied user behaviors •Produce annotated wireframes using Visio (or other compatible wireframing software) •Communicate user experience design principles to cross-functional teams •Assist in usability test planning, executing, and reporting EDUCATION: •Bachelors degree in HCI, Design, Cognitive Psychology, Library Science, or related field.
